PLA

PLA Filaments are the most commonly used material in 3D printing. Preferred to be used in the first stage of prototyping as it is a cost effective material. Several 3D printed iterations can be made using PLA before other moving on to challenging filaments.

PLA filament emits a pleasant odor while printing. It is strongly suggested that the filament be not used to print objects that would be exposed to hot spotlights or an heated environment, as PLA tends to malform when stored above 60°C.
